Align your body. Awaken your heart. My classes are dynamic, fun, challenging, and expertly taught. They feature alignment based, precise postural sequencing and can be challenging or therapeutic depending on where the students are at. My classes are organized around one or a small grouping of ‘focus’ poses. Each class has a direction and builds momentum progressively and systematically to educate and empower each student to his or her greatest potential in each pose.
Together, we will seek the alignment of body, mind, and heart. I will work with you in applying precise biomechanical alignment techniqeus with empowering and spirituatlly uplifting heart virtues that support full awakening and harmony. With my vast repitoire of yoga therapy training I will work with you on pain management and overcoming specific physical ailments and weakness in your body. We will also work to improve overall alignment in yoga poses to minimize areas where your experience discomfort and ensure maximum benefit of each pose. Depending on your specific desires and obstacles, this transformational yoga session will vary from highly dynamic to regenerative. My private yoga classes are deeply personal and experiential.
My Therapeutic Bodywork sessions are designed to empower you to actively relieve pain and repair injuries. We will assess your areas of injury, pain, or limitations first, and I will incorporate specific forms of bodywork with an emphasis on Thailand Medical Massage that will create more space in the body, help release unnecessary tension and limitations and assist in healing and regeneration of your body and spirit. We will also integrate additional modalities to further establish the active healing process by including additional breath work, meditation, and yoga into the session.
Workshops are a great way to get an introduction to the teachings, philosophy, and practices of Modern Embodiment. Our workshops are in-depth experiential classes (usually lasting 3-12 hours over a weekend) consisting of physical practices (chi gong), yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices. We will go keeper into the embodiment experience with more detailed, precise, technical instructions and discussions, often including partner and group work. My workshops often include therapeutics, pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, and journaling. You’ll receive more of a feel for the heart-opening, life-affirming philosophy and transformation in Modern Embodiment, which derives its sources from Hindu Tantra, Buddhist Tantra, and other eastern as well as their more modern evolved philosophies and methods.
Thai Massage Trainings provide an opportunity to expand and deepen knowledge and experience through the study of anatomy and Thailand Medical Massage. Our trainings are in-depth experiential classes (usually lasting 3-12 hours over a weekend) consisting of physical practices (chi gong), yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices. These trainings provide students and teachers with tools to actively relieve pain and repair injury. My trainings often include therapeutics, pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, and journaling. We work on learning the therapeutic applications of Thailand Medical Massage to actively help the body release areas of limitation, relieve pain and tension and repair injuries.
